The Business XChange Hub - Croydon Operations Manager

The Business Xchange Hub based in Marco Polo House is a newly refurbished and designed Office, Meeting room and Conference space for hire, based on Lansdowne Road in the heart of Croydon.

An innovative new concept in office accommodation for new and growing businesses, perfectly located next to East Croydon station, Croydon’s Boxpark and the proposed Westfield development.

Are you tired of drab, old office space to work in? Well, we are too, which is why we are now offering this designer inspired office space which will work for almost any client. This new space will have state of the art AV equipment, high-speed Wi-Fi, and will be suitable for either the occasional or more regular user, suitable for teams of all sizes, from the start up business user, entrepreneurs, freelancers and more.

The Business Xchange Hub provides a sophisticated and sleek space that is hassle-free and provides all of the conveniences needed to allow the user to focus on what is important to them- their business.

We are now looking for a very special individual who has a unique and wide range of skills.

- Firstly you must be able to demonstrate that you can sell and market this space, by being proactive towards gaining new clients. This is a standalone role initially so you will also be involved in taking sales calls, communicating on rates, setting up contracts, and being the point of contact for the clients.

- You will be mapping and creating an operations building document to include a description of all the facilities and processes in the building and ensure they are met and adhered to.

- In addition to this, the successful candidate will host meetings where required, ensuring rooms are set, and teas and coffees are made available. Sleek breakout style areas are available with refreshment facilities which must be monitored and maintained.

This position is brand new to our company, and the ideal person will take full ownership and responsibility of the role, and report directly to Senior Management.

Are you the right person? If so we want you!

- Ideally, you will have experience in either conference and events in hotels or other similar companies such as Regus.

- You are someone who wants to take ownership of this role and has the drive to be successful. You will make it happen.

- You will have sales experience, able to prospect, develop and close a deal, and demonstrate a clear ability to be confident and socially adept, with great communications skills and a likeable persona.

- You will be flexible in terms of working on a rota, there could be occasional weekend working, but in the main, it will be Monday to Friday, but hours should not bother you.

- You will have excellent attention to detail, great admin, and standards are everything, our clients want to be wowed.

- You will be happy to be hands on with the operation as well as office based. The Business Xchange Hub is a new concept and you will need to turn your hand to anything.
