Applications Open for fifth Mayor of London’s TechInvest programme showcasing Women in Tech

Oct 8, 2018 · The next Mayor of London TechInvest event seeks leading WOMEN-led startup to scaleup tech businesses seeking investment.

The fifth event in the Mayor of London’s TechInvest programme will showcase London’s leading Women in Tech, with a focus on female tech founders making an impact in London as a Global Tech Capital. The forthcoming TechInvest will present 10 of the most innovative women-led start up and scale up businesses seeking investment to grow. TechInvest Women in Tech will identify and present inspirational female-led teams, building ground breaking solutions that contribute to the lives and work of London’s communities. Businesses applying should be based in London and demonstrate strong female leadership in the founding team, be actively seeking investment to scale and raising between £250k-2mil. The business can be focusing on different tech sectors and applications, but should demonstrate that their technology offers solutions to improve the lives of London’s communities both present and future.

Mayor of London’s TechInvest Programme is an exclusive event series supported by the Mayor of London, in partnership with UK Business Angels Association. This four-year London-based series will showcase the Capital as a global hub for tech innovation by inviting London’s most ground-breaking tech entrepreneurs to pitch their businesses to industry leading investors. With five events per year, each will focus on a specific tech sector, drawing in the best start-up, early stage or scaling businesses to be showcased. From our competition series, an expert judging panel will pinpoint businesses with the strongest potential to scale and contribute to elevating London’s global tech-sector.
