Centre for Fashion Enterprise (CFE) has announced the future players in fashion and fashion tech for their next round of the Pioneer Programme. Beginning in November 2018, CFE will be joined by six fashion tech innovators, who in line with future trends and forecasting, all interrogate a growing, sector-wide interest in personalisation, whether that be the personalisation of products or the personalisation of retail and shopping experiences.

Supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), CFE is London’s pioneering fashion and FashTech business incubator, helping local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support innovation and business.

Understanding that the clothing and retail industries stretch far beyond the confines of fashion, the selected FashTech Pioneers cover childrenswear, tailoring and retail software. From businesses that use digital platforms to offer personalised or adaptive garments such as bespoke shirting business Collarbone who quickly turn around bespoke shirts through easy measuring and collection facilities across the city to Bundlee, who after witnessing its huge success in Scandinavia, have brought the UK its first home-delivery baby clothing rental subscription model.

Several businesses joining CFE have developed digital applications to ease and personalise the online retail experience, from Proximistyle, which provides an effortless personalised search tool, with one-click reserve functions and a cross-brand shopping list that works both online and offline. Harper Concierge helps fashion brands better connect with their customers by delivering the in-store experience to customers at home. Own-Kind is a digital suitcase planner for women who love fashion and travel and need to plan their wardrobes – think Clueless in 2018. While Virt-U-Code is working business2business to provide a virtual 3D garment fitting experience for retailers.

"I am elated to take Bundlee to the next level with the knowledge and support of the CFE. After running a successful pilot, the FashTech Pioneers programme will provide us with the expertise and network that will propel our growth so that we can create the greatest sustainable impact." - Eve Kekeh, Founder, Bundlee
