artrepublic.com, ArtSnap and IdeelArt enter into partnership with Tagsmart - the British pioneers of DNA tagging and artwork certification - for the launch of Tagsmart’s latest online development.

The partnership will use the UK's first B2B artwork aggregation service, developed by Tagsmart, to enable artists to submit trusted art, pre-tagged and with a Certificate of Authenticity, directly to artrepublic.com, ArtSnap and IdeelArt.

The ‘Hub’ will launch in September and will offer works from leading and emerging artists registered on the Tagsmart platform. The four companies will be breaking new ground by connecting artists and online retailers via a platform for authenticated, primary artworks with associated provenance records.

Since Tagsmart’s launch in April 2016, the company has tagged or certificated over 11,000 works of art. It works with a number of the world’s leading contemporary artists by using DNA tags to secure the authenticity of the artwork.

The partnership will enable artists to connect with online retailers in one click and drive online art sales by delivering trusted works, secured by Tagsmart’s proven technology.
